these limbs are very satisfactory. However, I ordered two of the better (nineteen dollar) limbs at different times and their appearance was different. One was polished smooth and the other had a much coarser surface. I'm assuming, however, their performance will be the same.

I use these prods for making scale models of medieval before investing in a full size. They are cheap, and don't wear out quickly. Their power is consistent across the 6 or so prods I have bought. The draw is about 8"

These reliably draw 50# at 8-8.5" I have used them for several little bows. The finish is good too. I have bought others from ebay and they all were lopsided and had splinters. These have been consistently good. For $10 per prod you can't go wrong.
