How much does it cost?
The beginner archery safety class is $30 per person and it is designed to teach anyone who has never shot before or who has never taken a safety course in archery. THIS IS REQUIRED BEFORE BEGINNING ARCHERS CAN SHOOT ON OUR RANGE. After that, the cost is $20.00 for the day with a target included. Additional Targets may be purchased. |

Can you rent equipment?
Yes, the cost would be $30.00- Includes your bow, arrow, an armguard, a finger tab, and your shooting lane-WITH NO TIME LIMIT |

Do you offer group classes?

Can I shoot my crossbow there?
No, unfortunately we cannot. |

What is included in the private lessons?
One hour class allowing archers to gear up, continue with the training basics in safety and form. Coach supervised training includes recurve or compound bow and all safety equipment. Continuous, ongoing instruction, accommodating various skill levels. What will be covered: Refining form, understanding equipment needs, equipment purchasing options, tournament rules, timing, string alignment, concentration, back tension. One hour Private Lesson 1 on 1 is $60.00 |

Do you offer private group lessons?
Woods Archery Range is available for groups of shooters (all types: schools, clubs, families, friends, Scouts, Y-Guides or corporate/social events). All equipment and instruction is included. Minimum of 6 shooters required to reserve. One hour private event cost is $10 per shooter (youth group), $20 per shooter (adult groups), and $45/hr for instructor (minimum one instructor/15 shooters). |

Can you accommodate group parties?
This is a two hour package at the indoor range with a reserved shooting area and party room. We supply our instructor Don and equipment for 10 people to shoot. Kids must be 8 years and up, for birthday parties. Cost $225. Based on 10 shooters, other guests may watch. Additional shooters pay $20. First hour is shooting, second is party celebration. Activities run through shooting safety, instruction, and multiple game scenarios with targets, balloons, etc. If a party theme, we suggest bringing a piñata (without candy inside) for our moving target skill challenge! Can Boy Scouts get their archery merit badge?
Certified counselors offer a 3 hour seminar to complete all requirements. Merit badge pamphlet must be read prior to class and parent must sign off as completed. Cost is $25 per scout. If you need more details or if you want to make a reserve contact us today |

Is there an age requirement?
The minimum age to shoot is 9 years old. There are two reasons for this. The first is that any child under 9 might not be able to get the bow to full draw, and they might get discouraged because the arrows wont stick to the target. The other reason is attention span. Arrows are dangerous and having one pointed at you isn't fun. |
