Overview:

The very latest version of the worlds best selling pistol crossbow is based on the innovative Barnett Commando Pistol of the late eighties & early nineties. The Prophecy Pistol Crossbow is easy to cock and simple to use but it should not be confused as a toy. The Prophecy is very powerful and can release a crossbow bolt at high speeds over a good distance. Unlike full size crossbows, pistol crossbows do not require a lot of energy to cock, so many crossbow bolts can be fired in a very short period of time. The Prophecy is a break action, semi-automatic loading pistol crossbow having an 80 lb draw weight with a high quality wood-feel aluminum stock, adjustable rear sight, and bead foresight.

No toy and I love it

Very pleased with this item. It has a little weight to it and a sturdy feel to it. I have no regrets. I do have to admit that it took me a few seconds to get used to the safety, but it works like a dream for me. And if you think that you need a second person to string it, you don't. Just go look up some videos and you will be fine. Keep in mind that this pistol crossbow shot through 1 1/2 pressed 1/8 of an inch fiber board just when I was aligning the sighs

Really wanted a regular crossbow for a VERY long time but couldn't decide on one. I own several hand guns and love shooting. Came across this pistol crossbow and for the price thought I'd give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! love, Love, LOVE it!!! Can't say enough good things about it. Nice weight to it. Really feels legit. Liked it so much bought a second one. Fairly accurate within 15ish yards. Easy to cock and load...NOT a toy, and NOT for kids. I'd suggest getting extra replacement strings and wax. If you're gonna shoot it a lot, and you will, the strings may wear out, some faster than others, it's just the nature of the bow. Definitely recommend if you're the least bit interested. Enjoy!

Nice crossbow

Bought the based model and added my own mods to it. Got rid of the factory sight, and added a laser red dot/ flashlight combo scope. Also, I bought a picatanny rail and added a folded forehand grip to it, which makes it even more accurate and easier to cock. Looks pretty badass.
PS. The crossbow comes with 3 aluminum arrows. They broke pretty easily. Get the plastic ones, they are much much more stronger.
