As the old cliche goes; kids, don't try this at home.

Check out these crossbow trick shots by an accomplished archer.[/caption]
Who doesn't like watching some good
crossbow trick shots every now and then? Trick shots are part of archery culture and have been around probably since its ancient beginnings. I don't know of a single person who doesn't like watching archers doing incredible things with their equipment from time to time.
Trick shots typically are at arial targets, moving targets, and small targets. Some shooters are even confident enough in their abilities they place others in the line of fire and perform some William Tell type shots.
Watch as this archer captivates his audience with some daring crossbow trick shots.

Some bold stuff even at the close ranges he is shooting.
The archer in the video is named Bob Markworth. He is an accomplished archer who has managed to make a living by his craft.
According to
Bob's website, he is a member of the Archery Hall of Fame and is a past archery champion of California. As an archer he has made a name for himself with the trick shots like you just witnessed. Mainly performing for audiences, Bob has toured the world with his archery skills paying the tab. He has performed in 58 different countries, and even
went to Europe to perform on "France has Talent" after his stint on the America's got talent TV show.
In addition to his trick shooting ability, Marksworth is a hunter as well. He has pursued big game on six continents, but doesn't provide a record of species he's taken. He has been an accomplished outdoor writer, so one would have to figure he's been very successful on his hunts.
Trick shots are fun, but one should always exercise a bit of caution and judgement. Obviously this isn't something you should be trying in your backyard. My guess is Bob had taken millions of shots before ever dreaming of shooting a balloon off someone's body. Also, his marksmanship is proven by his state archery championship achievement. Plainly said, Bob is a top tier archer and there are very few like him who should be taking these shots.
Trick shots will always rest at the heart of archery. From William Tell and Robin Hood, to Bob Markworth and Byron Ferguson, trick shooters will always be there to entertain and push the limits of archery.
