When searching for a bow case, you need to ensure that it is going to be best suited for your specific bow/needs. A compound bow version is going to be different then a recurve bow version for many reasons. You are going to have to consider your particular setup in order to get the best product. There are a few features that you are going to want to have in your archery bow case. First and foremost you need to make sure that you get a holder that offers you a good level of protection. The higher quality holders will also be lightweight and offer you a decent amount of extra space for accessories. You must also make sure that you make the decision on whether you want a hard case, or a soft case for your setup. If you are going for a hard bow case then you can be assured that it will be sturdy, but it will also be heavy. This type of case can offer you increased levels of  protection They are also typically great for long term storage. Before purchasing a hard case, you should be aware that they are more rigid and will be heavier than the soft versions. One of the major upsides to a soft bow case is that they are very lightweight, so that would mean that they would be perfect for someone who has to travel long distances to their bow hunting location. The downside to these is that they are not meant to be thrown around so you need to be aware that they do not offer the same amount of stiff protection that a hard version would. I have found that soft cases work best, with people who are always moving around with their bow.
