crossbows should be prepared and cooked immediately on site to avoid spoilage. There are different recipes and cooking methods hunting enthusiasts should follow to ensure the quality of the meat.
Even first-class restaurants are offering exotic meats like ostrich, bison and elk. Consumers should not be wary of trying-out these delicacies since they are very nutritious and low in cholesterol.
Cooking it on-site is also very simple since it does not need a lot of ingredients to taste good. It also has a short amount of cooking time because of its lean consistency and absence of considerable amount of fat.
Wild meat can be sliced into various cuts like sausages, steaks and ribs. Freshly killed animal meats are like any other kind of commercial meat. People can combined it with lemon, thyme, rosemary, soy sauce, oyster sauce and other types of spices and herbs before grilling it or frying it on the pan.
Deer meat is also very tasty when cooked like hamburger patties. It does not have an overpowering taste and is similar to pork and beef meat. But the three most popular on site game recipes are Braised Elk with Mustard and Porter, Spicy Squirrel and Deer Meat Recipe.
For braised elk, the ingredients needed by the person are 1.5 kilograms of elk meat, six pieces of bacon, 600 millimeters of beer, one teaspoon brown sugar, one sprig of thyme, three tablespoons of mustard, salt, black pepper and three tablespoons of brown sugar.
First, rub the mustard over the whole venison. Use the dull portion of a knife to smooth the bacon. Sprinkle with pepper and put in a big roasting plate. Drizzle meat with beer and add one teaspoon of sugar and thyme. Cover it with foil and place it over an open fire with the help of a grill. Cook it for 1 ½ hours. Add beer every 15-20 minutes to ensure the dish remains damp.
Use a sieve to remove the beer into a separate pan after the cooking time. Separate the bacon from elk meat and spread the remaining sugar over it. Return the food uncovered over the open fire for an additional 20 minutes. Allow it to cool down for ten minutes before serving it.
For spicy squirrel, the ingredients needed are two to three pieces squirrels, barbecue sauce, ketchup, H
2O, diced onion, pepper and other preferred spices by the person. In a big bowl, combine the barbecue sauce and ketchup. Add a small amount of water. Modify the taste to their preference.
Spread the sauce into the meat and place it over the grill. Add the pepper and herbs like lemon and thyme. Allow it to cook for 1 ½ hours, dampening the meat with the barbecue sauce frequently.
The ingredients for the deer meat recipe are 1 ½ pounds of game meat, two pieces chopped onions, four cups of sliced mushrooms, three tablespoons of fresh butter, one clove garlic, six ounces of tomato paste, one teaspoon flour, one cup full of sour cream, one teaspoon of salt, a pinch of powdered mustard and 1/8 teaspoon of parsley.
First, use a pan to heat the butter. Add the chopped onions and sauté it until it is transparent. Add the deer meat and sauté it until is golden brown. Toss the mushrooms, paste, flour and other remaining ingredients with the meat. Mix it properly. Allow it to simmer on low heat for one hour. Serve it while hot.
