When you hear the word “Excalibur” the first thing that comes to mind is King Arthur’s legendary sword. Make no mistake, use of the name Excalibur is not meant to take from legend, yet rather convey a sense of the power and quality of their products.
Case in point is the new
Excalibur Matrix 355 Realtree Xtra Crossbow. The main selling point of this new crossbow is that it combines speed with the company’s newest innovations.

The Matrix 355 Xtra is a 34.8 inch long crossbow that fires arrows at speeds of 355 feet per seconds. While it won’t break any records, the
Excalibur Matrix 355 Xtra is still extremely quick and all the new technology invested in its design. The Matrix 355 Xtra weighs in at 5.4 pounds making it great for those hunting excursions in hard to reach locations.
Users of the Matrix 355 Xtra will be happy to know that they can easily take advantage of the Compact Recurve Technology. Not to be confused with Barnett’s own CRT, the Compact Recurve Technology is a combination of Excalibur’s Quad-Loc riser and PowerLoad limbs.
The Matrix 355 Xtra was also designed to reduce vibration and recoil which helps create consistent, accurate shot placements. Another notable quality of the crossbow is Realree Xtra camo applied by Kolorfusion and is quite the eye catcher making this crossbow an ultimate hunting weapon.
